Rockwell 401(k) Plan Updates
Starting in 2026, changes will be made to the Rockwell Retirement Savings Plan (the “401(k)” Plan) as we implement two key provisions of the SECURE 2.0 Act:
- Roth catch-up contributions: If you’re turning 50 or older in 2026 and your total 2025 FICA wages are over $150,0001, any catch-up contributions you make in 2026 must be made on a Roth basis.
- Super catch-up contributions: Employees ages 60 to 63 will benefit from an increased catch-up limit, allowing you to contribute up to a total of $11,250 in 2026. Just like other 401(k) contribution limits, this limit may change annually.
Watch your inbox as Fidelity will be communicating with you if you’re impacted by either change.

Your 2025 Year-End Checklist Is Here!
As the year wraps up, here are some important action items to complete before the calendar turns to 2026!
1. Refill Your Prescriptions by December 31
Stock up on medications now to maximize your current plan’s value and ensure you have what you need. Rockwell is transitioning from CVS Caremark to Optum Rx for 2026 prescription coverage—this change should be seamless for you and your family.
2. Prepare for 2026 Retirement Plan Changes
Starting in 2026, the Rockwell Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)) will implement two SECURE 2.0 Act provisions. If you’re turning 50+ in 2026 and earned over $150,000 in 2025 FICA wages, catch-up contributions must be Roth. Employees ages 60–63 can contribute up to $11,250 in super catch-up contributions. Watch for communications from Fidelity if you’re impacted.
3. Book Health Care Appointments Before Year-End
Take advantage of remaining benefits for checkups, screenings, and preventive care before year-end. Many plans cover preventive exams at 100% with no cost to you, and if you’ve met your deductible, you’ll pay less for additional care.
4. Spend Down Your FSA Balances
Spend your Dependent Care FSA funds by December 31, 2025—unused amounts don’t roll over. For Health Care FSA and Limited Purpose FSA, any balance over $660 is forfeited at year-end. You have until March 31, 2026, to submit claims for eligible 2025 expenses. Check your balance at Your Benefits™. If your remaining balance is $660 or less for the HCFSA, it can be carried into 2026 only if you enroll in an FSA for 2026.
5. Access Your 2026 Medical, Prescription Drug, and Dental ID Cards
If you enrolled in a new medical or dental plan, physical cards will arrive in December. Note: If you’re enrolled in UnitedHealthcare, you’ll receive one card for both medical and prescription coverage. If you’re enrolled in Centivo, you’ll receive separate cards for medical and prescriptions.
6. Expect Your New HSA/FSA Debit Cards
First-time Broad Access HSA enrollees will receive HSA information and debit cards from HealthEquity in December. First-time FSA enrollees will receive information and debit cards from Alight Smart-Choice in December.
7. Confirm Your Dependent Information
If you enrolled new dependents for 2026, prepare to provide proof of eligibility (marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Double-check all dependents’ names, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth.
8. Complete OnTrack for Premium Credits
Complete your OnTrack requirements by December 31 to earn credits for your 2026 medical premiums. View program requirements in the 2026 Benefits Guide (page 39).
9. Take Time Off to Recharge
If you have accrued vacation, take time off to relax and recharge before year-end. Your vacation days depend on your tenure at Rockwell—check Epoch or page 36 of the 2026 Benefits Guide for your eligibility.

Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Virtual Visit? Here’s How to Choose
Choosing the right place to get care can save you time and money. When you’re sick or injured now, heading to the emergency room (ER) or urgent care may not always be the right option. So how do you know where to go?
Here are five ways to get the right care—and save money:
#1 Primary Care Provider (PCP): Your Starting Point
Best for: Annual checkups, prescription refills, ongoing condition management, minor illnesses, and ongoing health concerns
Advantages: PCPs know your medical history and can coordinate care between specialists for personalized treatment.
Limitation: Usually only available during business hours, though many offer after-hours phone consultations
#2 Virtual Visit: Care at Your Fingertips
Best for: Minor illnesses, prescription refills, mental health appointments, follow-up medical appointments, and skin concerns
Advantages: Same-day appointments, no travel time, and often more affordable
Limitations: No physical exams, limited diagnostic capabilities (no CT scans, MRIs, labs), not for urgent situations, like difficulty breathing
#3 Walk-In Clinics: Quick Care for Minor Issues
Best for: Minor injuries like cuts, sprains, or burns; common ailments, such as cold, flu, or sore throat; blood pressure checks; immunizations; and simple prescriptions like antibiotics, blood pressure medications, and pain relievers
Advantages: First-come, first-served basis, often located in pharmacies; most affordable option for minor needs
Limitations: May not have access to your complete medical history, wait times can vary significantly, cannot handle complex or serious conditions
#4 Urgent Care: Enhanced Immediate Care
Best for: Broken bones, cuts needing stitches, moderate injuries, severe cold/flu, nausea/vomiting, rashes, and fevers
Advantages: Doctors on staff, X-ray machines, extended hours including evenings and weekends; faster than ER for nonemergencies
Limitations: May not have access to your complete medical history, wait times can still be substantial during peak hours, limited surgical or advanced treatment capabilities
#5 Emergency Room (ER): For True Emergencies Only
Best for: Chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden mental changes, stroke symptoms, uncontrollable bleeding, major broken bones, head injuries, sudden vision loss, or seizures
Advantages: Open 24/7 with full medical staff, can handle any medical emergency, with immediate access to specialists if needed
Limitations: ERs prioritize by severity, so nonemergency cases face long waits; expensive option

5 Easy Ways to Achieve Your Retirement Goals
Can you believe we’re halfway through 2025? While you’re thinking about summer vacations and weekend barbecues, take a quick pause to check in on something equally important—your retirement savings.
#1 Check up on Your 401(k) Contributions
When was the last time you logged in to your Rockwell Automation Retirement Savings Plan (the “401(k)” plan) account? With six months left in 2025, you still have plenty of time to make adjustments that could help your financial future.
Take a moment to log in to 401k.com and check in on your 401(k) contributions through our plan administrator, Fidelity. For 2025, you can contribute up to $23,500 if you’re under 50, or $31,000 if you’re 50 or older—either on a pre-tax or Roth after-tax basis. And if you’re in a position to save even more, the Rockwell plan allows regular after-tax contributions to help you increase your retirement savings.
#2 Don’t Leave Free Money on the Table
Let’s talk about one of the perks of your 401(k)—the company match. Rockwell matches 50 cents for every $1.00 you contribute on a pre-tax, Roth after-tax, and regular after-tax basis, up to 7% of your salary. It’s a great way to give your retirement savings a solid boost.
Just a heads-up: Catch-up contributions aren’t eligible for the company match.
#3 Take a Moment to Review Your Investments
Now is a great time to review your current investment elections and make sure they still align with your goals. With the Rockwell Automation Retirement Savings Plan, you have the flexibility to choose how your money grows—from more conservative investments to options with a bit more risk and potential reward.
You can build your own investment strategy or use the experts at Edelman Financial Engines to do the heavy lifting for you with both free and fee-based investment guidance. Call Fidelity at 877.401.5762 and ask to speak to an Edelman Financial Engines advisor who will assist you, or visit 401k.com and click on the Edelman Financial Engines link to get started.
And, if you’re looking for even more investment choices, there’s a BrokerageLink option for added flexibility.
#4 Make Sure to Update Your Beneficiaries
A beneficiary is the individual or group you designate to receive the funds in your 401(k) account if you pass away.
If you’ve gotten married or divorced, had kids, or gone through any major life changes, now’s a good time to check that your beneficiary information is still up to date.
You can review or update your choices anytime through Fidelity at 401k.com.
#5 Check in on Your Retirement Readiness
Want a little extra guidance with your retirement and investment goals? You can meet one-on-one with a knowledgeable Fidelity representative to build a personalized plan that meets your needs to help you feel confident and in control of what’s ahead. You’re welcome to bring your spouse, partner, or financial advisor—invite anyone who makes you feel comfortable! To get started, be sure to register for a virtual consultation.
Remember, you don’t have to do everything at once. Pick one or two items from this list and tackle them this week. Your future self—the one enjoying a well-earned retirement, whether that’s beachside mornings or long-awaited passion projects—will thank you for the smart planning you put in place today.

Support for You…and Your Furry Friend
We get it, pets are like family. And you do whatever you can for your furry family. Check out these four tips below to learn how Rockwell Automation can support you and your pets year-round.
#1 Enroll in Pet Insurance
Rockwell Automation provides health care for all family members—even the four-legged ones! MetLife offers extensive, affordable pet insurance plans for dogs and cats to help reimburse you for pet medical expenses and unexpected trips to the vet. Because when it comes to giving your pet the best care, you don’t want to have to worry about the price tag.
Ready to enroll? You can enroll in this benefit anytime during the year. Call MetLife at 1.800.438.6388 or visit mybenefits.metlife.com.
#2 Don’t Miss an Annual Check-Up
Scheduling annual check-ups, exams, and vaccines for your pet allows the veterinarian to monitor their health and catch potential health concerns early on before serious treatment is needed.
Looking for a veterinarian? If you’re enrolled in MetLife pet insurance, you can visit any licensed veterinarian, emergency clinic, and have 24/7 access to the online vet chat service through the MetLife Pet mobile app. To get started, call MetLife at 1.800.438.6388 or visit mybenefits.metlife.com.
#3 Establish a Consistent Routine
Creating and maintaining a routine helps pets feel safe, secure, and happy. Feeding them, going on regular walks, and even going to bed at the same time every night can make a big difference in their behavior. If winding down at night is challenging, don’t forget you have access to the Calm mobile app premium membership—at no cost to you. The Calm mobile app offers hundreds of sleep stories, meditations, and relaxing sounds to help both you and your pet ease into a restful night.
Looking for an easier way to unwind at night? Register for Calm mobile app by visiting calm.com/b2b/rockwell-automation/subscribe and use your Rockwell Automation email address.
#4 Get Pet Parent Support
Owning a pet can increase your overall mental well-being. Whether it’s your dog’s excitement when you walk through the door or your cat purring in your lap—pets bring comfort, routine, and happiness. That being said, caring for an animal is a huge responsibility that can introduce new stressors, especially when life gets hectic.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t forget that Rockwell Automation provides access to counseling sessions through the ComPsych Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP can help you navigate through your life changes, relationship developments, work-life balance, parenting and family concerns, professional growth and development, managing finances, and more.
