Dental Administrator

Both your dental options are administered by MetLife Dental.

Dental ID Cards

If you enroll in dental coverage, you can print out a MetLife dental ID card on the MetLife website.

Dental ID Number

Your MetLife dental ID number for dental benefits is your 8-digit employee ID number (for example, 100XXXXX).

Why You Should Stay In Network

Since your dental option has negotiated lower rates with network providers, you will likely pay less when you use a network dentist. If you see an out-of-network dentist, coverage levels do not differ from an in-network dentist, but you won’t be taking advantage of the negotiated rates—so you may have to pay the full cost at the time of care. Plus, you are responsible for any cost difference if the dental expenses are more than MetLife’s allowed reasonable and customary charges.
