It’s time to talk about mental health.

We want you to know that it’s OK to not be OK. Wherever you are in life, whatever you’re dealing with—we’re here to support you in any way we can.

Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety or fighting stress at work. Perhaps you have a loved one or a coworker who you know needs help. And sometimes, you may just need someone to talk to. You’re never alone—Rockwell offers three benefits to keep you mentally and emotionally healthy.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP is free, confidential and available to you and your family to help you balance your work and personal life, deal with grief or loss, manage life transitions and much more. This program offers support 24/7, 365 days a year. You even get up to five free counseling sessions per issue per year, as well as access to resources and referrals to help you with whatever you need. Call 1.855.897.4044 anytime you need support.

Did you know?

  • 1 in 5 American adults will experience mental illness this year. The most common issues: anxiety and depression.
  • $80 – $100 billion is what mental health and substance abuse are estimated to cost U.S. businesses each year.
  • 400 million workdays are lost to depression each year in the U.S.

Tip: Help reduce the stigma around depression by signing up for the next EAP webinar: Depression Awareness and Treatment, happening at 1 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, Oct. 1. You’ll learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of depression and where to turn for help.

Aware

Just last year, we launched Aware, a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, through the EAP designed to help you engage at work and deal with stressful situations. To help you live more intentionally, you’ll complete six phone sessions with a wellness coach who will train you to be more mindful and ride out the highs and lows that life brings in a healthy, positive way. To get started, call 1.855.897.4044.

Tip: Aware counts as a Take Action activity. Consider participating in the program if you still need to complete your Take Action activities before the end of the year to receive credit toward your 2020 medical premiums.

Substance Use Treatment Helpline

If you or a family member are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, you can call the Substance Use Treatment Helpline at 1.855.780.5955 for free, confidential guidance and support.
